In the world of fashion, it is a fact that many designers hire the prettiest faces to model, but render them unattractive through stupid make up or silly hair-do’s.
However, Stella McCartney is one designer who knows how to make pretty faces look prettier by making them wear lovely clothes and bare minimum make up. She is famous for designing clothes that any girl would want to wear on her first date. The British designer recently unveiled her Autumn/Winter 2007-2008 ready-to-wear collection in Paris.
The entire show did not have even a single printed dress. The emphasis was rather laid on cuts and silhouette, creating looks that flattered the body. The show started with a shag wool coat in gray on Daria Werbowy and also featured hooded short duffle coats, ponchos, peak shoulders sloppy cable wool sweaters and blood orange coat dresses. The wearable collection was not based on any formula as such and offered something for everybody.
