Anna Nicole Smith’s last film is due to be released in May. The comedy, science fiction film, that stars the dead stripper-turned-celebrity Anna is titled Illegal Aliens. In the 93-minute long film, Smith stars as one of three aliens who transform themselves into ’super-hot babes and arrive to protect the Earth from intergalactic forces of evil,’ according to press release from the MTI Home Video.
MTI spokesman Ed Baran has described Illegal Aliens as a low-budget film which is a deliberate spoof on Smith’s own sex bomb image. MTI Home Video will distribute the movie through DVD outlets only in May. The movie will not be released in cinema, Baran confirmed.
Smith had herself invested money in the project and played an active role in Scripting. Her son Daniel, who died last year was credited as an associate producer on the film. Baran revealed that the timing of distribution of the movie was coincidental to her death. He added that Smith had planned to promote the film herself by taking part in the publicity campaign of the sci-fi.
